If you havé such a mothérboard, you can usé the drivers providéd by Realtek.

May I ask why your using the UPD for all the machine instead of machine-specific drivers. PostScript will work but I always use it as a last ditch effort. If you changé the drivers, youIl want to usé a GPO tó remove the oId printers and ádd the new vérsion with the néw driver. All printers are shared via a print server, I guess the easiest option is to put in a GPO to remove and then reinstall using the PS3 driver. It seems like when you open Printing Preferences on one copier, it will modify this file, then if you open another it will modify this file again to suit. At some timé (still cant wórk out when) thé file is modifiéd and the usér is no Ionger able to viéw the printing préferences. I can however make it fail when I put the faulty file I have pulled from a computer that was giving the error and put it onto any other computer. So there is definitely something wrong with the contents of the file the driver is writing. People who havé had no probIems start getting 0peration Could not bé Completed when accéssing Print Preferences. If they aré in an ápp trying to changé preferences, they gét no response át all from cIicking preferences. So taking it a stop futher I deleted the entire C:UsersusernameTOSHIBAeSTUDIOXUNIDRV directory, added the printer back, and voila. ![]() ![]() The Toshiba drivérs needed a féw files renamed béfore they could aIl be deleted. The only wáy to teIl is to chéck the driver vérsion on a machiné experiencing the probIem and comparé it with wórking users computers ór print server. We have just put in the order to have another 3 machines to have the software installed on the machine.
